Building along Colorado’s Front Range has always been tough—thanks to expansive soils that wreak havoc on foundations. But in 1991, while building a custom home for the Denver Parade of Homes, Jonathan Williams faced a challenge that would spark a game-changing innovation. Traditional basement floors simply wouldn’t cut it. The solution? A brand-new, patented structural floor system—and the birth of FloR Systems. The first product, T Span, was revolutionary: an EPS-formed, insulated structural floor using a ribbed “T-beam” design that delivered both strength and efficiency.
